The Westborne style jean is panel-free and sports an adjustable waistband
with real button and zipper so you can even wear these jeans after you deliver
and no one will ever know they're maternity! For those of you who like the feel of a panel, the Laurel Canyon jean from Paige features a panel with a comfy 5"
rise. Both styles are actually designed as a maternity jean, unlike most other designer jeans which
are simply their regular jeans with the top chopped off and a panel or band added, which doesn't allow for other adjustments
your body is busily making. Most of you know that your belly isn't the only thing that changes shape to accomodate
the sweet life inside of you. Having a little extra space available in the tush area is a beautiful thing!
With that said, this ultra-sexy Westborne design features a regular button-and-zipper
closure, but the waistband has a secret fit for your growing belly. Inside, on either side of the zipper there is an
opening with elastic threaded through it. There are buttonholes the length of elastic. Outside the opening is
a button. All you do is pull on the elastic until you reach the desired waistband fit, button the elastic
in place through whichever buttonhole you choose, and you have now adjusted your waistband to fit you! As
your belly grows, just change buttonholes. No one will ever know that they are maternity because the waistband
is exactly like your regular jeans, so you can wear them for years to come!
